Postage & Packaging

I have included postage for UK mainland first class small package within the cost of each item so there will be no additional cost from the listed price, if you require a faster service please contact me to discuss your requirements. 

If you are overseas please contact me for details, additional postage costs will be  £2.00 for Airmail which can take between 7 - 10 days to arrive, if you require a faster service again contact me to discuss your requirements.

Every effort is made with the packaging to prevent damage happening during transit I cannot be held responsible for damage caused by courier/post but will endeavour to repair items if possible to do so, this could incur a fee, in the case of beads I will try to remake an individual bead if necessary but it will not be an exact copy of the original as I hope you appreciate they each are one of a kind and are difficult to replicate exactly.

I will refund the cost for an item or I will repair item free of charge if it is a fault with workmanship, please contact me to discuss any aspects you do not understand.

You would need to contact me in the first instance, if any damage occurs during transit.  

If damaged due to misuse I will not take responsibility ~ I can repair for a fee.

All items are guaranteed for 3months from the date of purchase, after this time it will be discretionary.

 

Returns Policy

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you may return it to me as long as it has not been worn or damaged in any way, unless I have received previous correspondence from you regarding the damage. 

That it is sent in its original packaging with all its components enclosed in the package and packed the same way as it was sent to you, unless the packaging has been damaged during transit.

I will refund you the full amount of the item, this will not include any postage/packaging costs, expect for when it is applicable, for mulitiple items. I will give the return address when you contact me with full details and invoice/receipt number.

I do hope that this won't be necessary and you are happy with your purchase(s).

 

Materials

My designs are generally made with silver or gold plated metals unless otherwise stated. Sterling silver can replace the silver-plated, especially if you have sensitivity to plated metals in earrings for instance, this would alter the price. If 9ct gold is required, this is possible but would increase the cost., stocks are limited please contact me for details. Coloured wires are enamel coated and have a copper core.

My lampwork beads are made from glass, they have all been kiln annealed for strength and durability but if dropped they may still break, crack or chip depending on the surface they hit, concrete is not kind to glass!

Lampwork Glass beads, Swarovski crystals or Czech crystals, Gemstones, glass beads, metal beads and charms, pearls and seed beads are used throughout my designs. 

The wire in 'Floater' necklaces' is known as 'Tiger tail' or Flexible Beading Wire it has a nylon coating and comes in many different colours starting with silver and gold, black, red, pink, green, blue and many more.

There are many different types/styles of chain I can use in plated metals, they would be different to sterling silver or 9ct gold chains.

 

Measurements

All lengths stated are approximate, it can be fairly straight forward to make the item shorter but it is not the case for lengthening, which is why I generally add extension chains to most necklaces and bracelets excluding those with toggle clasps attached. The extension chain is approx. 4.5cm (2") plus bead dangle. If you do not require this feature please state at checkout, the overall length would need to be accurate as alterations would not always be possible once the item is complete, please contact me with any queries.

To take accurate measurements of necklace/bracelet lengths ~ string is ideal.

Cut a length, hold it around your neck/wrist and mark where it is comfortable and measure this length (this would be the overall length including the clasp).

If ordering a pendant the drop needs to be taken into consideration in addition to the length, bracelets need additional length for larger beads especially if it is elasticated.

 

Commissions

All my Contemporary Jewellery is 'one of a kind' so each item is unique and original. If you really like a piece I may well be able to recreate something similar, I do make to commission so please contact me for ordering.

Necklaces and bracelets come with a 2" extension chain except when a toggle clasp has been fitted, the bead dangle finishes it off with a flourish, and this is in addition to the chain length.

 

Glass Charm Bracelets

The bracelets can be made to order in your colour choice so please contact me to discuss with you what can be used to make it special for you, this will include:

 

lengths of chain, types of chain and clasps

metal charms, beads and/or gemstones (including advice of birthstones and healing properties, etc.) and if you would like a focal bead.

Any of these bracelets can be custom made for you, the amount of beads placed on the bracelet would be entirely your choice or they could be replaced with pearls and instead of a focal bead I could add a watch face.

If you would like a pair of earrings to match any of the necklaces you see, please contact me to discuss this before ordering, items can then be reserved until they have been made up. Any items can be reserved for up to 4 weeks, if additional items are commissioned, by which time they would be placed up for sale once more.

so most of the necklaces you see here

are made on the longer side,

so if you need it shortened it is very simple to do.
